Strawberry Rhubarb pie was delicious also the fried mushrooms were great. It was a lot of food for an appetizer.

Pulled pork and baked beans were amazing. My boyfriend had the brisket and he loved it. Even my boyfriend's 8yr old son said his burger was one of the best he's had. Will definitely stop by again whenever we are driving through!!!!

Very attentive and friendly staff! The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean. Our food was delicious and we were stuffed by the end.

Located in the Cove Lake state park this is a large comfortable restaurant with great views of the park land. Menu is extensive, portions are generous. Food is good but not special. Service was friendly and efficient. On site parking.

The food is about a five out of ten. It is clean and has good views from the large windows. The staff certainly makes no effort to hurry, so expect to stay awhile. And they could dress more professionally. Go only if you are bored.

They have the best food and the friendliest people who work here! It was overall an awesome place to eat! Love love loved it!!!

Excellent BBQ restaurant at Cove Lake State Park. The pulled pork was perfectly done. I would highly recommend getting the combo platter for two to get a good sample of the BBQ offerings. Staff is friendly and my iced tea was never empty.

The caring service and soft ambient music glided me through a lunch of many tasteful wonders. The pork cooked just right with a slightly toasted bun giving the meal the perfect crispyness with fries that melted away in your mouth without the soggy texture. All while enjoying the beautiful veiw of rolling green hills with mountains and a glittering lake in the distance. I encourage you to come and have a relaxing and delightful lunch.

The atmosphere is excellent and so is the view. I ordered the pulled pork platter and found it to be the best pulled pork I've tasted. It was very tasty and tender. Almost melted in my mouth. There was a live band which was good. I would go back if I lived in the area.

Mixed review for me on this one. It was very busy with several large groups. There was also very loud live music that wasn't to my personal liking, but in fairness about half of the people there seemed to enjoy it. It was what I think of as old fashioned hillbilly music. Not bluegrass as the sign said. Average age of the customers was about 65 to 80. My husband liked his salad, but my mother in law didn't eat her BBQ sandwich and my grilled chicken sandwich was overcooked and tough. We were seated right away when we arrived and waitress was quick to take our order and bring the sodas, but it took 45 minutes to get our food. My husband also wasn't pleased that there was a single stall in the men's room and someone was in there for over 15 minutes. We finally gave up and left so he could find another restroom. We won't be returning. I gave 3 stars because quite a few people really seemed to be enjoying the experience... Just not us.

Was recommended to Rickard Ridge BBQ by the front desk lady at the Hampton Inn. O. M. G. This place was awesome! Our server was great! We had the deep fried dill spears. For dinner a thick burger with sweet potato fries, and smoked chicken thighs (topped with some house BBQ sauce), sweet potato fries & bbq beans. Food was GREAT! Service was GREAT! Price point was not bad either. Great views added to our dinner. We will be back! ***** Stars!

Love the staff. They are calm and friendly. Portions sizes aren't too big or small. Situated with a nice view of Cove Lake Park.

We stopped for a quick bite while traveling back home to Ohio! We had the best experience with the service! Food was outstanding! And there was even a live band! LOVED IT!! Definitely coming back next time we are down this way!

We went there on Memorial day on the way from TN and really enjoyed the live music and food. It's a great place to have lunch and the view is beautiful. The food was great and so was the service!

Amazing view. The barbeque was good, nothing special. Fried cheesecake burrito was surprisingly good.

Nice, homely atmosphere with good food and good service at great prices. The views out of the windows are really nice too. We will be returning.

I ordered a salmon dinner with asparagus and sweet potato fries, popcorn shrimp with hush puppies and green beans, mushroom & brie soup of the day, fried cheesecake, and the irresistibly tart strawberry-rhubarb pie. Dont forget to enjoy your meal on the raised patio or a relaxing walk through the park next door.

Places like this are a true gem. Food is fantastic and the entertainment is unmatched. Local talent is just the best.

The restaurant is situated in a really neat location at the entrance to a park - it was dark outside, though, so we didn't get to fully appreciate the view. Upon entering, we were unexpectedly surprised by a live bluegrass trio, who played pretty well. The food? We got a catfish nips appetizer - it was good, including the hush puppies that came with it. Dinner, however, was a bit of a disappointment unfortunately - the wife and I tried their supposed specialties and shared them. Both the chicken thighs and the ribs were fairly well seasoned but were way too dry. Dripping and juicy they were NOT. Bottom line? Nice atmosphere, fair food. Sure wish their BBQ wasn't so dry ...

I always enjoy the service, food and the live music. Mark is a great guy and I love his parents, Russ and Mary Ann! **Best BBQ this side of Heaven! If God made anything better...He kept it for Himself!**Monday & Thursday night are live music nights! Call the restaurant and ask about other nights throughout the month that they have groups come and sing. Mark told me the 1st Friday of the month they have a band play. Call for bands and times!

Poor service if your not local or a regular forgot it use to be really good service and food

Absolutely incredible bbq! I'm SO happy I stopped and decided to give this place a try. The views from the restaurant are beautiful. I picked up a top combo to take back to my hotel. If I weren't alone I would have loved to dine next to the large picture window views of the surrounding mountains and lake. Do yourself and your stomach a favor and try this place out. Ribs were out of this world.

The food is always good, fresh and hot. Great service Danielle was very attentive and checked on us frequently.

Good BBQ and nice to have in the park when you are camping. Service wasn’t great though. They sat us, forgot about us, then when one guy stepped up to help us the girl was huffy and mad (the one who ignored us) at him. We were happy he got our drinks and order. We don’t care whose section it is. Anyways, food was good though.

Such a good place. Great views and lots to do nearby. The ribs are really good as well. Live music on some days as well.

Staff is friendly. Dinning area looks outdated but is very clean. I would rather have clean than new honestly. Husband and I stopped here on our way to pigeon forge. Best hand battered onion rings I’ve ever ate!!! Fried tomatoes were awesome just how I remember them to be when I was a child. And the brisket cheddar melt was more than satisfying. Antes to let y’all know that on our way home 4 days later we stopped again🤭

Service and the food was great. Our waitress really took good care of us. I cant remember her name. :)

The chicken thighs were tiny but packed with flavor. The ribs looked really good. I loved the decor and location of the restaurant. I'd eat here again if I was ever in town again.

Incredible cuisine, as I had the delectable and tantalizing pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries. For an appetizer I chose the beer battered mushrooms, as well as a small portion of wonderfully fried green tomatoes. The service was absolutely and the staff was very attentive to all and every need of the patrons. A huge wonderful family atmosphere and absolutely a place that anyone would enjoy, I have no doubt about it!

We visit Rickard Ridge almost every time on our way to Gatlinburg. The food and service are great each time!! Love this place!

Enjoyed the view and the location. Food was pretty good, too. Problem was we waited more than half an hour for our food to come after ordering and there were just a few other tables. Would come back if we knew service would be a reasonable time.

We all went to celebrate Mother's Day! The food was delicious and our waitress was very good.
